Where Am I Going

Dimensions: 12 x 60 in

Glass eyes;

passenger side.

Sometimes I forget

What they mean

by alive.

Strange skin,

I can’t help but fear-

That I’m the only one

really here.

A soul scraping

something

emptier than atmosphere

Based on sketches made during public transport journeys, “Where Am I Going?” captures a moment of solitude - a figure caught between movement and stillness, presence and invisibility.

The work explores the effort to maintain dignity in urban life, the intimacy of strangers, and the weight of simply existing.
