About me
I write and I paint – but not necessarily in that order.
I’m an artist, writer and editor with a deep commitment to making visual culture accessible, inclusive and emotionally resonant.
My practice sits at the intersection of critical research and creative expression. I will graduate with a Master of Fine Art from the Royal College of Art in summer 2025, and I hold a BA in English from the University of Southampton, where I developed a strong editorial voice.
My large-scale painting practice explores quiet moments of human vulnerability - solitude, dignity, and the poetics of the overlooked - while my academic and curatorial writing sharpens my ability to shape language that invites, informs and connects. Whether I’m painting, writing, editing interpretive texts or collaborating with designers, I work with care, empathy and precision.
I believe the world needs artists and writers who can hold space for complexity and feeling - who can make room for things that can’t be easily explained. We’re being asked to notice more, to listen more carefully, and to create meaning that isn’t just clever, but true.
